January 23 — Nathan Thornburgh, Time Magazine contributing writer

Nathan Thornburgh

Nathan Thornburgh is a contributing writer for Time magazine, as well as co-founder of  DadWagon and Roads & Kingdoms.

Before becoming a freelance journalist and blogger, Nathan was a senior features writer and senior editor at Time, working for the Nation and Briefing sections (among others).

He left the magazine’s staff in 2009 to explore different writing experiences, including blogging and travel writing.

He launched DadWagon to share his insights about being a father.

He also lends his expertise as a foreign correspondent for Roads & Kingdoms, an online journal with heated discussions about international travel.

Nathan’s work has appeared in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Bloomberg Businessweek, the Stranger, Slate and many other publications. He graduated from Stanford University and speaks four languages.
